I’ve decided to clean up around here a little and simplify things a little more. I realized that there were too many ads that took away from the attention of blog readers…sorry about that. Now, everything is down and to the point. You see an article or blog post that you want to read…you click and then you read. Simple ain’t it?
The previous theme that I had still was a little messed up and required me to add an extra line of code for each time I made a post. This extra line would allow an image to show up on the front page…I hate doing that! With this template, it automagically pulls the first image used in the post and uses it on the front page.
Now, back to blogging with ease…the best way to go!

Just doing a test post with this new free desktop to wordpress publishing software. Looks like its working and pretty easy to use. My main concern if it is going to work with the auto-thumb feature that I have working on this template. If not, I may have to change templates again!

This little doodle was inspired by the rain that just now started falling here in Indiana. I haven’t doodled for awhile so I just had to get it out of my system. I’ve got this huge 21” Wacom Cintiq that I stare at all day and don’t even use it that much…mainly because cartooning is probably not the cool thing to do at work. lol…
I just needed a quick break before I got back into work. I feel like I have been going non-stop at my day job as well as when I get home at night.
Breathe in…breathe out…ok, back to work.

I got a chance to check out the new Battlefield 1943 by downloading the demo last night for Xbox 360. Although I only put in about 15 minutes, I can say that the game is going to be awesome.
My first impressions was that it felt like a mix of different Battlefield series. Bad Company with the destructive environments, Battlefield Heroes for the arcade like feel and of course, 1942 for the nostalgic eye candy and music.
Bad thing about the game so far was there was no ability to connect to any servers. EA and Dice are in the process of adding more but you think that they would be ready for it…that was a little disappointing. With that being said, I wasn’t able to even get on line and check out the multiplayer aspect of the game.
Another thing that turned me off was the flying controls. When I fly something, I want to put the controller stick back to pull up…this was reversed and I couldn’t find a way to invert it.
So really, it looks like it will be a fun game once the server issue gets resolved. I mean, you really can’t go wrong with a 15 dollar game which I hope to see some decent replay value in it.
