That’s right, Palm accepted the application and it is now official!  The application can only be found on web catalog right now.  Palm wants $50 to submit it to their app catalog which can be viewed directly on Palm Pre phones…yeah not going to happen right now.

The good thing is that some developers are taking advatange of a feed and creating sites that make it much easier to browse and download all webOs applications.

My latest and greatest Palm Pre Application has been released to the public.  The Palm Pre Electric Shaver. Once again, this was just an experimental palm pre application but thought that some people out there would like to have fun with it.

My wife is always nagging for me to shave so here we go! Seriously, the PreShaver does not really shave.

This was created for another experiment as I wanted to play around with the vibrate function in the Palm Pre and get it to last much longer than a split second. After the button is tapped, the PreShaver will vibrate for 10 seconds and mimic an electric shaver.

Experimental versions included a buzzing electric sound but timing and delivery became an issue. Expect updated versions to have this feature dialed in as well as other fun options.

A new version of Firefox is out and available for manual download.  It should be only a matter of time that users will be able to update through the browser.

There’s a new show on HBO coming out that looks really good.  There are a lot of factors that will make it worth watching.  Here are just a few: Tom Hanks, WWII based, creators of Band of Brothers, WWII based and that its based on WWII. Did I leave anything out?

The only bad thing is that I don’t have HBO to see it so I will probably have to wait until the damn box set comes out which will probably end up costing more than subscribing to HBO for a few months.  I could be wrong though as I haven’t even begun to look into costs, etc.

At this time, I haven’t found an official air date…just sometime in 2010.
