Turd Toons A Weekly Wipe of Humor

Something woke me up at 3am and I had a vision.  That vision consisted of a couple of wiped turds that would sit side by side and say funny things to each.  These turds would appear in the form of a weekly comic.  Weird right?

As if I don’t have enough comics to make throughout the week, I’ve decided to give this “vision” a shot.

Starting this Friday, February 3rd 2012,  Turd Toons – A Wipe of Humor will begin!

Here’s a sneak peek on the upcoming webturd comic: http://dribbble.com/shots/405907-Turd-Toons-Concept

Mention Friends Name in Google Plus Post

For a few weeks now, I’ve been starting to use my Google Plus account more to share my Mobile Nations comics as they get published. I’ve also been noticing that some people are referencing their friends or people in their circles with a clickable link that goes directly to their profiles.  Up until today, I didn’t know how to link to Google Plus accounts in a Google Plus post.

I just found out and here is a tip to mention a friend’s name in google plus post.  Are you ready? Here’s how you can link to a user’s Google Plus profile:

While making a post on Google Plus, simply hit the plus key on your keyboard and start typing out the person’s name.  As you type, name suggestions will come up. Pick the person that you want to link to and you are good to go.

Simple…but a big DUH for me!

Quickly Activate the New Google Menu Again

Have you seen the new Google menu bar and it was gone the next day? The new Google drop-down menu has disappeared? Is the new Google tool bar on one computer but not the other?

Forget about editing your cookies and trying to make a Franken-Browser for it to work. Here are 3 quick and easy steps to get the new Google bar back.

For Chrome, Firefox, Safari or Internet Explorer 8+

1. Open google.com in a new tab

2. Load Browser Console

* Chrome - JavaScript console (Ctrl+Shift+J)

* Firefox - Web Console (Ctrl+Shift+K)

* Safari - Web Inspector (Ctrl+Alt+I)

* Internet Explorer - Developer Tools (F12 and select the “console” tab)

3. Copy and paste the information below, then  hit enter. The dark grey Google menu bar is there!

document.cookie=”PREF=ID=03fd476a699d6487:U=88e8716486ff1e5d:FF=0:LD=en:CR=2:TM=1322688084:LM=1322688085:S=McEsyvcXKMiVfGds; path=/; domain=.google.com”;window.location.reload();
