A major disappointment yesterday as the Colts bus overheated on the road to the Super Bowl. With an agonizing score of Chargers 28 - Colts 24, it was close and intense the whole game. The Colts just could pull through though.
It seemed that the Chargers defense was pumped and pressured Manning way too much for him to even think straight. Usually Manning seems relaxed. He falls back, looks around and throws the ball perfectly...not yesterday though. Looking closely, Manning was jittery and bouncing all around.
Don't throw it to Harrison either! I was hoping to see something out of ol' Marv...but he fumbled on the first catch. I am pretty sure that's the only attention that he got during the game. Manning should have said to his recievers..."Look, if you are not gonna catch the ball, I'm not gonna throw it to you!"
Rivers was forced out of the game because his makeup was running so I was sure that the Colts would gain the upperhand with the 2nd string noobie QB coming in. Nope, it didn't change a thing.
So anyway, that's it. The Colts are knocked out of the playoffs and there is really no other reason to watch Football Americano anymore. Nah, I will still watch some more...but who to cheer for? I think that I will just cheer on whichever team is facing the asshole Patriots.
