In Halloween Mode

For some reason, I have been thinking about Halloween for the past few months and I just can’t get it out of my head! Its one of my most favorite times of the year and it brings out the kid in me.
This year, the idea has been slated with a Scarecrow theme for the yard and I may possibly get started this weekend. My wife and daughter already dug out the annual Halloween nic-nacs and scattered them around the house…now I feel like I am running behind with my Halloween deco.
So I have just about everything that I need to start working on my scarecrows…posts, fake straw, tree branches and flannel shirts. I just need to get my hands on some burlap for the faces. Things that I still need are hats, trenchcoats and some corn stalks. Thankfully, I don’t have a utility pole around or I will be attempting this giant scarecrow…isn’t that awesome?! Mine will hopefully end up more like this but without the pumpkin head…just want it to be better than the last year or years before that.

I love Halloween too!!! My favorite is when you scared the piss, literally out of one of my students!!! That was so much fun, I actually scared myself. I have so much burlap!!! Watch out for the wind if you put up the cornstalks!!! Remember that time you had me in the Indiana corfields, draggin stalks into your teeny car!!!
