R2-D2 Nicotine Addict
I have never seen this video before and to be honest, I don’t even know how I came across it. Its an old-school Anti Smoking Public Service Announcement that features R2-D2 smoking a cigarette and CP30 ain’t having it. C-3PO enters a control room and finds R2-D2 smoking a
cigarette.
C-3PO tells R2-D2 how bad smoking
is, and that its not a good idea to be doing it while kids are watching. R2-D2 throws out the cig and agrees that smoking does suck.
The PSA aired somewhere around 1983 or 1984
I wished that I would have seen this commercial when I was a kid…maybe I would have been inspired!
