The Gamer Show

Old buds from back in the battlefield days have started a new show or gameCast called The Gamer Show and is quite an earful. Its nice to finally listen to a show with character and
pizzazz for once!

A GameCAST, is like a PODCast, but changed for gaming news and
discussions, sometimes heated discussion. Being a gamer and be a very
stressful thing from time to time, when companies tell you certain
things and you see something else, which then starts the conversation
with your friends, or family, or just random people, using the
internet’s lovely forums. A GameCAST;designed to start talking straight
game news, industry, software, you name it, allowing gamers ‘such as
yourself’ and non gamers to listen in and participate in the show in
some form of matter.

Recently, they were looking for some help on a theme song for their show.
I gave it a shot and you can hear it in Episode #4!
Plans are for me to be on the show when I get time, so don’t miss that one. :)

Who we are?
Good question!!
TheGamerShow.com started as more of a water-tank conversation that was
very comical and ended up in some bad stomach pumping?.uhmm we decided
one day that we have heard enough boring discussions and scripted texts
from shows out there and sworn that one day we would make our own to
raise the bar a little bit.

Michael (VipeNess) and Vlad (ObsoletePower) got together and started
planning the next big gaming show. We knew that we needed a way to make
our idea more publicly known so we posted on popular forums and told
all of our friends that something is afoot, we didn?t tell them what.
We realized that raising the bar would be challenging and enraging (at
times) but if we could do it, it would be a very rewarding experience.
We needed to come up with a structure. Our staff looked at the
positives and negatives of the industry to shape TheGamerShow and
pulled some interesting things.

The team decided that reviews are a must since many people these days
want to know what they are getting BEFORE they spend their money,
unscripted discussions (they are what kill many shows), interactive
LIVE shows where anyone can call in to participate, listeners to be
able to contribute to future shows and have guest speakers that are
well-known in the industry. These are just some of the ideas that we
know for sure will be implemented but suggestions are always welcome!

Why do we care?
Well! What took you so long to ask this question? We care because as
gamers and as well tech experts that know the entertainment industry
very well, it became clear that there is a HUGE audience on the world
wide web that bypasses television and radio information because on the
internet they have complete control of the information superhighway
being able to decide for themselves what is fact and what is fiction.
We want to take that a step further and make it easier for people to
gain knowledge about the gaming industry by offering a vast collection
of information in various types of media (podcasts, blogs, live video)
so that all our subscribers have to do is sit back, relax and enjoy!

Congrats to the team and we are glad to see you back! To check out the show, click on over to TheGamerShow.com.
