Turtles, Dragonflys and Worms

I had to go out today and take some “action” shots of some patio furniture for my work and decided to take a few minutes extra to enjoy nature.

At the city park, they have some quick little trails that you can walk along and I got some pretty interesting photos on my stroll.

No Trespassing Sign
This sign was buried behind some brush and thought it looked kind of cool.

Helpless Wormy
Spotted this slimy guy in the middle of the trail just waiting for a bird to come take its life.

Peeping Turtle
I scared this turtle back into the pond with my sasquatch walking but waited for it to peak back out for a quick snap.

Blue Dragonfly
You will have to enlarge this one to see the shiny blue dragon fly. I was surprised that it actually sat there and let me take the photo.  All the others were zooming around like crazy.

Monster Turtle
This was one of the last things that I noticed on my way out.  The large turtle probably had to be about 1.5ft – 2ft in length…and kept looking at me.
